“A passion for sports and fitness has always played a major role in my life and has helped define me as a person.  Growing up in Calgary, Canada in the Rocky Mountains, I dedicated myself to competitive downhill ski racing. In 1997, at the age of 17, my family relocated to New Jersey where I played collegiate volleyball for Montclair State University.  I moved to Jacksonville, FL in 2002 to obtain my MBA at the University of North Florida.  While completing my MBA, I was a personal fitness trainer at World Gym.  Still having that competitive drive, I started to compete in figure competitions.   Looking for another way above and beyond weight training and cardio, I discovered the art of Pilates to help gain a competitive edge.  As Pilates transformed my body, I couldn’t help but to fall in love with it and in 2009, I completed both Mat and Reformer training through PHI Pilates.

In February 2010, I ventured back North to the Big Apple to assist my sister with the opening of her own business, “Horse+Nail,” a designer handbag company.  While adapting to the city life and helping to build the Horse+Nail brand, I taught mat Pilates at a small studio in the Lower East Side, the “Lower East Side Dance Academy.”  After spending a year and a half in New York, I decided to move back to sunny Florida and open up my very own Pilates and fitness studio.  I wanted to design a studio that has an urban and upbeat feel…that when you walk through the door, you want to work out!  I wanted to deviate from the traditional Pilates studio and create a high energy atmosphere that incorporates Pilates and yoga exercises as well as intense TRX suspension training.  My goal is to reach out to as many people as possible to encourage them to not only build body strength but to help them strengthen their confidence and love for themselves as well.”

“My personal commitment to physical fitness along with my passion to help others is what led me to pursue a career as a fitness trainer and Pilates instructor.

In 2007, I earned my certification as a personal fitness trainer through NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) while interning with a personal training company. Since then, I have worked with hundreds of clients emphasizing functional fitness in which I incorporate kettle bells, TRX suspension training, kickboxing, plyometrics and interval training.

In 2009, I was introduced to Pilates after experiencing years of chronic back pain. The benefits I gained from Pilates made me realize another love in life that I could integrate with my personal health and fitness. In 2010, I became certified in Pilates through PHI Pilates and I am trained in mat and reformer.  Along with my emphasis on form, technique and attention to detail, my enthusiasm and energetic style of teaching creates a safe and fun learning environment.”

“I grew up in Neptune Beach, Florida playing many different sports and cultivating my love for competition. I went to Palm Beach Atlantic University and played soccer there, graduating with a Biblical Studies degree. Currently, I am in seminary and work with the Student Ministry at Beach United Methodist Church. Staying fit has always been important to me, but it wasn’t until I fell in love with TRX that I knew I had to get certified to teach others how to stay fit. My goal is to inspire people to be physically and mentally strong and to push beyond what they think their limits are. I want to motivate people to work hard to see the changes they want in their lives!”

Tetyana Boyeva - Yoga Instructor

“ I was born and raised in Ukraine and came to USA in 2007.  I was a dancer for almost 10 years and while I was studying International Relations at Kiev International University I was teaching dance, yoga and mat pilates. Traveling and learning new cultures and languages has been a love of mine but my true passion is yoga.

Yoga has changed my life completely. I worked in a stressful sales environment for about 3 years and to remedy my soul I went back to yoga and my practice was my salvation. I went to several Yoga Teacher Trainings and got certified in USA in multiple styles. I decided to make a career change and move to Florida to dedicate my life to teaching. I love every student that comes to my class. It makes me happy to see them improve their mind and body strength with every class. Knowing that I gave someone a part of my passion and helped in one way or another is the best feeling ever.”
